*REVIEW

Realization… letting Terrence Romeo go isn’t a bad idea at all plus they now got legit bigman in Tautuaa so despite the awful record from this season, all’s not lost for the Batang Pier squad.
The biggest problem of this team is their turnovers. They led the league this season with 18.8 turnovers per game. Also their star player, Stanley Pringle, also led the league in that category with 3.4 TOs a game but that’s maybe because of his heavy usage as he led the league in minutes played with 39 minutes per contest. On a positive note, he’s used that to be the best scorer in the league as he is now the scoring champ (dethroned former teammate Romeo) and the leader in points per game scoring 21 a game this season.
Another bright part of the story is the flashes of brilliance Jonathan Grey has shown in some of their games. The guy made some big shots on clutch times for the team. On the other hand, Sean Anthony, one of the stars in this team had a quite bumpy ride this season because of injuries but he still manages to be a nifty ball thief as he’s topped the steals per game category posting an average of 2 per game. (Ironic nga lang na nasa team nila yung player na leading sa steals per game pero sila pinaka maraming turnovers, parang wala lang din)
Again with players like Stanley, Mo, Sean, Mr. Grey and maybe some more guys that can help them, I think there’s hope for a better season this 2019. Oh and by the way, they drafted Robert Bolick so… (better read this).
